Listening to the Living World

What happens when we listen differently? Through biosonification, subtle electrical changes in plants and other living organisms can be translated into musical information. I use these signals as starting points for improvisation, composition and sound installations — creating encounters between human listening, technology and the living world.

A measured change becomes data. Data is mapped to musical parameters. The result is not the plant's hidden song, but a collaboration shaped through attentive listening.
