Music as art, expression and encounter
Music has been with me for more than thirty years — as an artist, a musician and a teacher.
I have taught in many different school environments, among them Sigtuna Humanistiska Läroverk and, since 2020, the SiS youth home Råby in Lund.
My own creative work is part of the teaching. Playing together, writing songs, improvising, producing music — I want to give young people the chance to discover their creativity and find their own expression.
For me, music is more than tones and technique. It can open a door, create community and give a voice when words are not enough.
As a sound artist and a teacher, I carry the same curiosity: what does music do to us, what does it say, and how does it change us? In both worlds, listening, creativity and the human encounter are at the centre.
